A growing number of Suno songs come with a video or animated visualizer. When that exists, you can save it as an MP4. Here is how to tell — and what to do when there isn't one.
Does my song have a video?
The Video Downloader checks automatically. If Suno published a video for that song, a download button appears; if not, the tool tells you the track is audio-only. You do not have to guess.
Video quality and resolution
You get the video file Suno published for that song, saved as-is with no re-encoding — so there is no quality loss. Resolution varies by track: some songs ship a full video, others only an animated visualizer. Either way, what you download is the genuine source file.
Steps to download the MP4
- Copy the song link from Suno.
- Paste it into the Video Downloader and let it detect the video.
- Click the MP4 button to save the video to your device.
Why some songs are audio-only
Not every track gets a video. Suno attaches videos or visualizers to some songs and not others, depending on how they were created. If the tool reports no video, it is not a bug — the song simply does not have one.
If there's no video
Most Suno tracks are audio-only. When that is the case, you can still keep the MP3 and cover art — just open the Song Downloader instead. The lyrics are available separately via the Lyrics Downloader.
Visualizer vs full music video
Some Suno songs ship a full music video, while others only include an animated visualizer — abstract visuals that react to the music. Either way, the MP4 you download is the visual Suno published for that track. There is no separate “lyric video” file; you can build one yourself with the Lyrics Timestamp tool.
Troubleshooting
- No video button: the song is audio-only; use the Song Downloader for the MP3 instead.
- Video won't play after download: try a different player, or re-download and check the file size.
- Only want the audio: grab the MP3 directly rather than extracting it from the video.
Common uses
- Sharing the visualizer to social platforms.
- Re-editing clips for a longer video.
- Building a lyric video with the Lyrics Timestamp tool.
- Turning the video back into an audio file via the MP3 download.
